Code of Conduct

Purpose:
Our Meetup group is dedicated to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment where individuals can connect, learn, and grow. This Code of Conduct outlines expectations for behavior to ensure a positive experience for all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and organizers.

Expected Behavior

To support a respectful and collaborative environment, we ask all participants to:

• Be Inclusive: Welcome and include people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

• Be Respectful: Engage in discussions with courtesy and kindness. Respect differences of opinion and personal boundaries.

• Be Collaborative: Share knowledge, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate the contributions of others.

• Be Professional: Conduct yourself in a way that promotes a positive and respectful environment for learning and networking.

• Adhere to Event Guidelines: Follow any rules or policies established for the venue or event.

Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to:

• Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind, including but not limited to gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, or religion.

• Inappropriate physical contact, sexual attention, or unwelcome advances.

• Disruptive behavior, including but not limited to verbal abuse, excessive interruptions, or actions that create an uncomfortable environment.

• Sharing inappropriate, offensive, or illegal material during group discussions or in any communication channels related to the group.

Reporting Concerns

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it to the group organizers as soon as possible. You can contact us directly in person at events or via email at jeremynathan@hotmail.com. All concerns will be taken seriously, and confidentiality will be respected.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

The group organizers reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary to address violations of this Code of Conduct. This may include, but is not limited to:

• Issuing a verbal or written warning.

• Expelling the individual from the event without a refund.

• Banning the individual from future events or removing them from the group.

By attending our Meetup events, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct and help us create a positive, welcoming space for everyone.
